Widespread rains catch South Dakota

South Dakota caught some beneficial rain last week.

USDA’s latest crop report says corn rated good to excellent is at 59 percent with 60 percent at the dough stage.

Soybeans are 62 percent good to excellent with 69 percent setting pods.

Winter wheat is 93 percent harvested, oat harvest is just shy of 80 percent, and spring wheat is called 32 percent good to excellent.
