Wisconsin Corn University

The Wisconsin Corn Growers Association is inviting producers to a special “hands-on” event at the U.W. Ag Research Station in Arlington on August 5th. The “Wisconsin Corn University” will feature field demonstrations from state experts in corn production, nitrogen management and soil structure. The day will start off with a commodity market update from Mike North of First Capitol Ag. The afternoon will offer growers a chance to go into the field and compare soil structure of continuous no-till farming to conventionally tilled ground. U.W. Extension soil scientist Francisco Arriaga and corn specialist Joe Lauer will discuss what 25 years of no-till have taught us.

Registration and full details of the WCGA Corn University program are available online at http://wicorn.ncgapremium.com/or by contacting the WCGA office at [email protected] or 262-495-2232.
