Wisconsin FFA chapter again offers cranberry tours

The Pittsville, Wisconsin FFA and FFA Alumni will again be offering cranberry harvest tours next month. Located in the center of Wisconsin, Pittsville is one of the largest cranberry-growing areas in the country.

The two-hour tours are conducted by students of the school’s Cranberry Science class and include everything from a new bed under construction to watching the harvest through freezing process. Funds raised go to fund FFA activities and student scholarships. Tours are available Wednesdays and Fridays in October. Cost is $25 per person, group rates are available.
