Wisconsin FFA to offer Organic Proficiency Award

The Wisconsin FFA will offer the first-ever Organic Proficiency Award at the state convention next June. Organic Valley will team-up with the Wisconsin FFA to recognize an FFA member who has demonstrated proficiency in either organic entrepreneurship or placement. The new award is being introduced at the Sectional Leadership Workshops being conducted across the state this month.

As a next step in promoting the organic movement among young farmers across America, Organic Valley and the National FFA will work toward approval of the Organic Proficiency Award at a national level.
