How Indiana is putting stimulus dollars to work

When U.S. Ag Secretary Tom Vilsack visited Indiana recently he announced that USDA was investing nearly $3.3 million dollars in a watershed project in Vigo County Indiana and another $8.1 million dollars in 13 floodplain easements projects in the state. Investments that State Conservationist Jane Hardisty says will be put to good use, and to ensure projects are done properly, USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service will be there every step of the way.
