Talking new ways of handling livestock

One of the world’s foremost experts on livestock handling, Dr. Temple Grandin, addressed a gathering of about 300 people on a farm near Humboldt, South Dakota recently.  One of those in attendance was Gail Sohler, who has owned and operated the Stockmen’s Livestock Market sale barn in Yankton, South Dakota for the past 47 years.  Following Dr. Grandin’s presentation, Brownfield’s Ken Anderson asked Sohler for his thoughts on what she had to say.
