A great example of a Wisconsin family farm

Wisconsin Secretary of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection among those welcoming visitors to Wisconsin Farm Technology Days. Ben Brancel told attendees at the opening ceremony the Statz Brothers Farm was a prime example of the family farms that make-up Wisconsin agriculture. The three-generation, state-of-the-art dairy operation employs 100 people and features the latest in technology. Brancel says the well-kept facilities, the anaerobic digesters and nutrient management plan serve as an example of how large dairy farms can be good stewards and good neighbors.
