AG CONNECT Expo 2011 gets underway
The AgConnect Expo is officially open this afternoon in Atlanta. The second AgConnect Expo, sponsored by the Association of Equipment Manufacturers, is being held in conjunction with the American Farm Bureau Federation annual meeting.
Ag Connect director Sara Mooney says the show is big, “We’re really excited about it. We’re going to have over 380 exhibitors on the show floor.” And that includes AFBF exhibits.
AgConnect organizers are assisted by Georgia State FFA officers.
Georgia FFA Executive Director Ben Lastly says that’s a plus for the students and organizers, “They are here to make themselves better because they value the opportunity to make our world better.”
Today is Ag Connect preview day with special admission. The show runs through Monday afternoon at the Georgia World Congress Center. And, American Farm Bureau Federation begins its annual meeting there Sunday.
