2011 AgConnect in Atlanta starting January 8

Just after the start of the new year – a big farm expo will be held in Atlanta. It’s the second annual AgConnect Expo – an AEM trade show. The 2010 debut show was held inn Orlando. This time, AgConnect Expo overlaps with the American Farm Bureau Federation’s annual meeting in the same venue, the Georgia World Congress Center.

Ag Connect Expo show director Sara Mooney says they’ll have over 400 exhibitors combined with the latest products and innovations, and lots of networking and educational opportunities…

“All in all we have 35 brand new education sessions in 2011.  Within each of the tracts you’re going to find something of interest for your operation.”

Mooney says the overlap with the AFBF convention is a plus, “Farm Bureau members will have access to the AgConnect show floor. Those that are attending the Farm Bureau annual meeting will be able to also attend the AgConnect show floor so that’s a great advantage for the 2011 show.”

AgConnect’s preview day is Friday, January 7th (by special admission) – and the Expo runs through Monday, January 10th. Register at the show or online at AgConnect dot com.

The American Farm Bureau convention is Sunday through Wednesday, January 9th through the 12th.
