American Star in Agriscience – Emily Arkfeld

From a science fair project in 7th grade, all the way to being named the 2010 American Star in Agriscience, Emily Arkfeld of the Lourdes Central FFA in Nebraska has a passion for science, in fact she hopes to one day turn that passion in to a career in meat science. Emily credits the FFA for helping develope her passion and has found science to be a very dynamic field. For those younger FFA members interested in the field of science, Emily’s advice, “go for it.”
