ASA Secretary: ‘Similar farm bill is our goal’

Kevin Scott of Valley Springs, South Dakota says soybean growers put crop insurance as a major goal in the 2018 Farm Bill.  Scott, speaking to Brownfield Ag News on American Soybean Association (ASA) Stage at the 2018 Commodity Classic in Anaheim, California, said little change is needed in farm policy.

“There’s a lot of minutia that we’re looking at in the farm bill,” Scott told Brownfield Ag News Tuesday, “but leaving it similar to what it was in the past is our goal.”
