Beef exports are shining bright

It’s been a long road, but beef exports are finally back to the pre-BSE levels of 2003.  One of the hottest markets for U.S. beef is South Korea.  Japan and the Middle East have also been very strong.  There has also been some progress in attempts to open the Chinese market to U.S. beef.   At the Cattle Industry Convention in Denver, we got an export update from Phil Seng, president and CEO of the U.S. Meat Export Federation.
