Canadian Holstein tops World Dairy Expo show

A Canadian Holstein was named Supreme Champion at World Dairy Expo on Saturday, RF Goldwyn Hailey exhibited by Gen-Com Holsteins Ltd of Notre-Dame-duBon-Conseil,Quebec. Reserve Supreme Champion was Arathusa Response Vivid ET exhibited by Arathusa Farm of Litchfield, Connecticut.

The Supreme Junior Champion of World Dairy Expo was the Holstein Seimers Goldwyn Goldie exhibited by Jordan and Whitney Ebert of Algoma, Wisconsin.

Wisconsin cows took top honors in the Guernsey and Red & White Holstein Shows at World Dairy Expo on Friday.

Jaclyn Peterson of Wilson, Wisconsin topped the Junior Guernsey show and the Open show earning Grand Champion of the International Guernsey Show with homebred cow Misty Meadows Adacka Pixie.

Blondin Redman Seisme-Red of Milksource Genetics, Kaukauna, Wisconsin was named the 2012 International Red & White Show Grand and Senior Champion.

17-year-old Cy Conard of Sharon Springs, New York won the Merle Howard Award as the top junior exhibitor at World Dairy Expo.
