Being a good example for agriculture
The World Dairy Expo Dairy Woman of the Year is Karen Schauf of Barron, Wisconsin. She and her husband, Bob have Indianhead Holsteins, a 110-cow registered herd that has sold genetics around the world. A former Alice in Dairyland, Karen is a staunch advocate of agriculture and the dairy industry. She and Bob were named Outstanding Young Farmers by the Wisconsin Jaycees and then the U.S. Jaycees. “Trying to be a good example for agriculture has always been at the forefront of how we do our business.”
