House Ag Committee discusses Farm Bill Listening Session
Members of the House Agriculture Committee held a three-hour listening session during the Farm Progress Show in Decatur, Illinois. Committee Chairman, Republican Michael Conaway of Texas, and Ranking Member, Democrat Collin Peterson of Minnesota agreed the session in Decatur, as well as the four that took place in other parts of the country, have prepared the committee to work on the farm bill. “We’re ready to go back and get this thing done,” said Peterson following the Decatur session.
