The Mosaic Company’s 10-day tour to spotlight crop nutrition programs and experiences of the Pursuit of 300 farmers included a stop at Farm Progress Show. Tom Fry, Premium products sales manager for North America tells Brownfield that The Road to Higher Yields Tour was an opportunity to take the message across the 6 family farms that have been a part of Pursuit of 300 and a chance to celebrate with them.
The Pursuit of 300 program drills down on what to do from an innovations standpoint to improve yields. Fry said it is really more about the journey than the destination, fostering a dialogue for all farmers to participate and learn from one another. Fry tells Brownfield that it isn’t just about those farmers with 300 bushel an acre potential.
The program looks at maximizing efficiencies and increasing yields while keeping sustainability in the forefront.
