Michelin introduces new product at FPS 2012

Visitors to the Michelin exhibit at the 2012 Farm Progress Show were introduced to the new MICHELIN YieldBib tire. Demetric Mass, Ag Sales & Development Manager for Michelin for the state of Illinois, told Brownfield this is the first first standard size Very-High Flexion (VF) option in tires for high horsepower mechanical front wheel drive and 4-wheel drive tractors.

Mass said Michelin listened to customers. Farmers wanted less soil compaction, better traction and less stubble damage.

The new YieldBib tire features Michelin Ultraflex Technologies, so it is capable to operate at low air pressure, with an expanded footprint for less compaction, resulting in more yield.
