Missouri Corn Merchandising Council (MCMC) Chairman Mark Scott keeps coming back to Commodity Classic to interact with farmers “to learn how they’re doing things,” and to cultivate relationships with industry representatives for the opportunities to improve his family’s Wentzville, Missouri farm. The advantage of farming 45 miles from St. Louis is Scott’s proximity to the Cardinals home field where the MCMC directs education efforts to Major League Baseball fans about modern farming practices.
