Pioneer’s AQUAmax shows 6% advantage
Early 2011 harvest results from Texas show that Pioneer’s new drought-tolerant Optimum AQUAmax corn hybrids are out-yielding competitors by six percent. That’s in line with Pioneer’s previous trials, from 2008-2010, in which the AQUAmax hybrids demonstrated a five percent average yield advantage over competitors. At Husker Harvest Days, we talked to Pioneer agronomy research manager Jeremy Groeteke about AQUAmax.
