Plenty to talk about in the Syngenta display

There were plenty of timely topics to discuss when we visited the Syngenta Seeds display at Husker Harvest Days. 

Wayne Fithian, head of technical information services, gave us an update on Sygenta’s water-optimization corn technology called Agrisure Artesian.

Craig Marsh, a field agronomist in northern Nebraska, briefed us on Syngenta’s Agrisure Viptera technology, which will control 14 different corn pests including corn earworm, fall army worm, Western bean cut worm, and black cut worm, among others.

Eric Boersma, corn portfolio manager, talked about Goss’s Wilt and the importance of genetic diversity in dealing with the disease.
