Pollinators worth keeping safe
One of every three bites of food are pollinated by native or honey bees “and it’s very important that we maintain the health of our bees,” said Caydee Savinelli, pollinator and IPM stewardship manager for Syngenta. “Our labels have specific language around bees and how best to use the products in order to use the products safely and then also to insure the safety of the bees,” she told Brownfield Ag News. The company’s Operation Pollinator has a goal of seeing to the planting of flora that suits bees well.
