To put it simply, SFP Avail protects phosphorus from getting tied up and fixed in the soil. To hear it from the company’s Iowa regional account manager, Jeff Thompson, “essentially, phosphorus gets tied up because it carries a negative charge level and once it gets in the soil, it wants to attract itself to certain positive charges.”

Avail, says Thompson, makes phosphorus available for the plant to utilize. Another of the company’s products, More that Manure, helps to stabilize some of the usable nutrients in manure and make them more available to plants.
