Wireless data transmission is in the field

At the Farm Progress Show, Ag Leader introduced equipment to perform wireless data transmission from the field via any cell service signal. Mike Olson, Ag Leader North America sales manager, says customers have been asking for the technology. “The data will transfer from the display up into the server and then from there you can take it to your home computer and read the information into your mapping software.” The server, called Agfinity, is cloud-based and hosted on the internet.
