More support for horse slaughter re-establishment in U.S.

Good news for agriculture: The board of directors of the United States Arabian Horse Association recently passed a motion in support of re-establishing horse slaughter plants in the US.Horses are livestock.

Horses are not kittens or puppies. The U.S. AHA has made a wise decision to stand up for animal agriculture in this country.

  • Yes, a wise decision. So wise, the members that were not asked for their opinion are dropping their memberships. Someday, these organizations will get wise and ask their dues paying members for their opinions before issuing policies that don’t reflect the members wishes. This was nothing more than the president wanting to make a name for himself with the AHC.

    Exactly how does killing an animal that is not bred or raised for slaughter help agriculture? Unless it is to help the over breeders keep over breeding and dumping their excess at slaughter.
