Brownfield Ag Weather Today

Unsettled weather will linger through the weekend from the Great Lakes region into the Northeast, where some additional snow accumulations will occur.  Subsequently, cold, mostly dry weather will dominate the country.  Across the northern Plains and upper Midwest, a reinforcing surge of bitterly cold air will arrive early next week, with temperatures falling as low as -20 to -30°F.  Elsewhere, Western freezes will linger into (or through) the weekend as far south as California’s San Joaquin Valley and portions of the Desert Southwest, but temperatures will remain above 32°F in other key winter agricultural regions such as peninsular Florida and Deep South Texas.
