Market reporting honors for Brownfielders

Kudos to Julie Harker and John Perkins of the Brownfield Ag News team for taking 2nd and 3rd place respectively in the annual National Association of Farm Broadcasting “Marketcast Awards” competition.  All NAFB broadcasters are invited to submit a market report from a specific date, set by the NAFB office. 

From a pool of more than 150 potential entries, I’d say they did very well.  The awards were presented Friday at the NAFB Convention held in Kansas City, Missouri.
