Snows

During migration, the snow goose flies so high you can barely see it.  This medium-sized goose breeds on the arctic tundra and travels south in large and noisy flocks. 

You’ll see a few dark birds in this video.  They are not a separate species as once was believed, but are instead a  “morph”  of the Snow Goose. 

These birds stopped to forage and rest in a corn field in Cooper County, Missouri Saturday afternoon.
