Storm damage

An article in the Albert Lea Tribune featuring this photograph by Tom Engstrom stirred some memories from Brownfield’s Jerry Passer.

Passer said, “This was part of my Dad’s operation when I was a kid. They had a big storm there last night with 3 ½ inches of rain and high winds. This was Wells, Minnesota where I grew up.  We used the block building for starting pullets for grower operations. The elevator was a co-op.”
