Big farms, big consumer concerns
Terry Fleck, with the Center for Food Integrity, says skepticism about large farming operations continues to grow as the size and scale of farming grows. He says there is a perception that profit is the overriding motive on large farms. But, Fleck says there’s a lot of good news for consumers about farming no matter what the size of the farm and that slow and steady progress is being made in educating consumers.
