Varying conditions call for aggressive weed, pest control
AMVAC Chemical Sales Manager Paul Van Zee is seeing a wide swing in planting delays divided by the Mississippi River. In Iowa the planting and growing season went almost according to schedule, while miles away in Illinois, delays have been a challenge. The time crunch forced growers to plant before a pre-plant weed control could be put down. Van Zee talks about AMVAC Discipline insecticide as well as the company’s SmartBox application technology.
