Michigan’s environmental assurance program covers new ground
Michigan’s newest environmental verification system partners with landowners to set sustainability goals.
Todd Johnson represents the forestry industry on the Michigan Agriculture Environmental Assurance Program Advisory Council. He tells Brownfield the Forestry, Wetland and Habitat system helps landowners to set management objectives.

He says landowners work through the assessment process with natural resource professionals to implement strategies that protect property owner’s land and natural resources.
