Lilly Endowment awards grant to AgriNovus

The Lilly Endowment is awarding AgriNovus, Indiana’s strategic initiative for the agbiosciences sector, a grant to fund a study of Indiana’s agbiosciences workforce.

AgriNovus will conduct a comprehensive analysis of the current and future needs of Indiana’s food and agriculture industries.  Beth Bechdol, president and CEO of AgriNovus Indiana says the goal is to learn how the organization can design, coordinate, and engage in strategic programs to ensure the food and agriculture sector has the talent it needs to continue to be successful.

The study will begin early in 2016 and results will be available later this year.
