32% of Ohio corn, 33% of soybeans are good to excellent

Corn and soybean harvest has begun in Ohio and corn silage harvest continues.

Corn is now 88 in the dough stage, 58 percent dented, and 17 percent mature. The corn crop is rated 32 percent good to excellent.

Ninety-six percent of the soybean crop is setting pods and 27 percent is dropping leaves. The crop is 33 percent good to excellent.
