4% of Ohio corn, 7% of soybeans harvested

The USDA says corn and soybean harvest continues to trickle along in Ohio.

As of Sunday, 4% of the state’s expected corn crop has been harvested, behind 8% on average, with 51% of the crop mature and 88% dented.

Seven percent of the Ohio soybean harvest is complete, down from 15% on average, with 83% of the crop dropping leaves.

USDA says 11% of the state’s winter wheat crop has been planted with 2% emerging.
