45% of Indiana corn, 49% of soybeans harvested

The USDA says excessive rainfall once again slowed corn and soybean harvest last week in Indiana.

The state’s corn harvest is 45 percent complete, in line with the five-year average. Sixty-nine percent of the crop is rated good to excellent.

Soybean harvest progress fell behind the five-year average with 49 percent of the crop harvested. Sixty-seven percent of the crop is rated good to excellent.
