64% of Indiana corn, 65% of soybeans rated good to excellent 

The USDA says warm weather and timely rainfall allowed for excellent growing conditions last week in Indiana.

Sixty-four percent of the state’s corn crop is in good to excellent condition, with 90 percent silking, and 39 percent at the dough making stage.

Sixty-five percent of soybeans are rated good to excellent, with 85 percent blooming, and 57 percent at the pod setting stage.

Pasture conditions held steady at 50 percent in good to excellent condition.
