87% of Ohio corn, 96% of soybeans harvested

The USDA says mostly mild and dry conditions helped late-season harvest progress last week in Ohio.

Eighty-seven percent of the state’s corn crop has been harvested.

Soybean harvest is 96 percent complete.

Eighty-three percent of the winter wheat crop is emerged, and 55 percent is rated good to excellent.
