AGCO and Kubota latest to sign repair agreement with American Farm Bureau

The American Farm Bureau Federation has signed an agreement with two more ag manufacturers allowing farmers and ranchers to repair their own equipment.

AGCO and Kubota are the third and fourth ag equipment companies to sign a memorandum of understanding with the farmer-led organization.

Farm Bureau has similar agreements in place with John Deere and CNH Industrial Brands, which includes New Holland and Case IH. Combined, the four MOUs make up almost three-quarters of the ag machinery sold in the United States.

The companies say they are committed to delivering tools that farmers can use to diagnose, maintain and repair equipment.

A Farm Bureau spokesperson tells Brownfield they’ll continue to look for opportunities to pursue MOUs with other companies.
