AGCO is streamlining North American brands

AGCO is streamlining its North American brands. As part of the strategy, the company will use the Massey Ferguson and Challenger names as foundation brands for their equipment. Names like Hesston, White, Sunflower and Fendt will continue as co-branded for example “Hesston by Massey Ferguson”.

The company will phase out the AGCO tractor line in 2011. Parts and service will continue for the line and AGCO dealers will be handled on an individual basis. Some may become Massey Ferguson dealers.

And despite its long affiliation with orange tractors, AGCO will continue the Gleaner combine line promising “exciting new enhancements” for Gleaner in the not-too-distant future.
