Alltech offers dairy support network

Alltech has announced a nationwide support network for dairy farmers.

Jorge Delgado tells Brownfield advisers help farmers with herd analytics, talent development, forage quality and cow comfort.

“We will help nutritionists, dairy producers, and the people working for dairy producers reach goals and solve problems.”   

He says the top challenges for dairy farmers are milk prices and finding and retaining talent which is where he specializes.

“We need to develop the talent before doing any training and that way that we do that is by identifying the cultures on the farm.”     

Delgado recommends farmers ask their nutritionists for more information about the program.
