Barron County WFTD offers scholarships

The Barron County Wisconsin Farm Technology Days committee is offering scholarships to three post-high school students enrolled in some type of agriculture-related training within the University of Wisconsin System or Wisconsin Technical College System.

Applicants must be a resident of Barron County or a neighboring county and attended high school in those counties and are planning to enter their 1st or 2nd year of college at the time of application. The candidates must have participated in the Barron County Wisconsin Farm Technology Days during the period of 2011 through 2013.

Each school should forward all applications to the Wisconsin Farm Technology Days, Inc. office at 140 Agricultural Hall, 1450 Linden Drive, Madison, WI 53706 by August 1, 2013.

Three (3) ($2000, $1000 and $500) scholarships will be awarded by the Wisconsin Farm Technology Days, Inc. Board of Directors. Scholarship winners will be announced on August 17, 2013.
