Beef checkoff vote ends Thursday

The voting on the proposed increase in the Ohio beef checkoff is in the home stretch with Thursday, March 20th the final day for voting.

“That’s the last possible date for you to weigh in on the proposed increase to Ohio’s beef checkoff, to take Ohio’s beef checkoff from $1.00 to $2.00 per head,” said Elizabeth Harsh, Executive Director of the Ohio Cattlemen’s Association. “You can still vote by mail-in ballot as long as it is postmarked by March 20, or you can vote at any county Extension office, or you can walk in to the Ohio Department of Agriculture’s office in Reynoldsburg.”
