Bringing the dealer experience directly to the farm

A leader with AGCO says expanding access to on-farm service is helping farmers make better use of their time during critical seasons.

Stefan Caspari, senior vice president of customer success and North America ag, says AGCO’s FarmerCore initiative is a “We Come To You” service model.

“We don’t believe that we will win with brick and mortar,” he said. “Brick and mortar is a high investment for our dealers, but it still requires the farmer to come to the dealership.”

He says farmers need timely on-farm support to minimize equipment downtime.

“We have big service trucks. They have a crane; they have all the equipment on them that you need in order to service or repair a machine. It’s basically a dealership on wheels. These kind of dealers bring service to the farm.”

Caspari says while dealership locations will continue to anchor farmer support in local communities, mobile and digital channels allow farmers to engage on their terms.

He made his comments during AGCO’s international press conference at the 2026 Farm Progress Show.
