Canal dyed blue to celebrate National FFA Convention’s return next week

 

The city of Indianapolis is highlighting next week’s return of National FFA members by dyeing the Indy Canal, one of the city’s main outdoor attractions, FFA blue.

National FFA CEO Mark Poeschl says the organization is happy  to be back home in Indianapolis and looks forward to having a lot of guests next week.

Speakers at today’s event include the 2016-2017 National FFA President David Townsend, National FFA CEO Mark Poeschl, Indiana Lt. Governor Suzanne Crouch, and CEO of Indiana Corn Marketing Council and Indiana Soybean Alliance Jane Ade Stevens.

The 90th National FFA Convention kicks off Oct. 25 and runs through the 28th.
