China is slapping a huge import fee on U.S. grain sorghum imports.

Starting Wednesday, Chinese importers of U.S. sorghum will be required to put down a deposit of nearly 179 percent. China says the “temporary antidumping measure” is the result of a months-long investigation that concluded U.S. sorghum was being dumped on the Chinese market.

U.S. sorghum exports to China have soared in recent years, from 317-thousand tons in 2013 to nearly five-million tons in 2017, according to the Chinese Commerce Ministry.
