Dairy policy still a farm bill questionmark

All indications are the conference committee is close to delivering the framework for a farm bill. One of the “sticky points” in the bill is the Dairy Security Act, specifically the supply management provision of the DSA. Some in the House including Speaker Boehner oppose any type of supply management. U.S. Ag Secretary Tom Vilsack says the bottom line is we need a dairy policy that will help producers stay in business.
