Grow Ag Leaders announces scholarship recipients

Twenty-two Indiana students will each receive a $1,500 scholarship from the America’s Farmers Grow Ag Leaders program.  The scholarships are awarded to students in recognition for their community service, leadership skills, academic achievement, and commitment to agriculture.  Each applicant was required to receive the endorsement of local farmers.

The program is a collaboration with Monsanto and the National FFA Organization and encourages and supports student interested in a career in agriculture.

Grow Ag Leaders was piloted in Indiana and five other states.  Of the 22 scholarship recipients, 19 have been involved with FFA and 17 of the 22 are currently attending or will be attending Purdue University.
