Illinois farmer looking for stability around markets and inputs
An Illinois grower says there is a lot of instability in the farming business right now.
Lance Panzor tells Brownfield, “The last couple of years with trying to get inputs, trying to get your grain marketed and trying to find places for it has been a real challenging thing.”
Panzor shares his strategy for managing through the volatility.
“I try to pay close attention to my marketing advisors because I think it’s very important to get this prop marketed correctly. That’s going to be the difference in a good year or a bad year.”
Panzor grows corn, soybeans, winter wheat and runs a small cow/calf operation with his wife and son near Waltonville.
