Iowa Soybean Association celebrates 50 years

soybean field-guthrie center 7-14The Iowa Soybean Association (ISA) will celebrate its 50th Anniversary next week with a symposium and recognition award banquet in Des Moines.

“It’s a big event,” says Aaron Putze, director of communications for ISA. “It recognizes the tremendous progress that has been made since the Iowa Soybean Association was founded in December of 1964.”

Putze says the program will focus on the past, present and future of the soybean industry, the Iowa Soybean Association and U.S. agriculture.

“We’re going to take a look back, but we’re also going to be looking ahead at what the next 50 years may mean for this very dynamic industry,” he says.

The event takes place December 17th and 18th at the Downtown Des Moines Embassy Suites.
