ISA to award ten $1,500 scholarships

Iowa high school seniors have until March 1, 2014 to apply for one of ten $1,500 scholarship.

Scholarships will be awarded to one student in each of Iowa’s nine crop districts and, from those recipients, one student will be selected to receive an additional $1,500. Students who apply should plan to pursue agricultural studies in college.

Applications should include:

• An essay addressing “What role would you like to be playing in agriculture and/or the soybean industry in the five years following graduation?”
• Three letters of recommendation.
• Four copies of each document.
